, Oliver Smiley,  pigment print on watercolor paper, signed and numbered ed. 40, 13  x 10"

Oliver Smiley crawled out of a hole in an old oak tree on a farm in Vermont. He wandered down to the Hudson Valley and acquired some property near West Hurley, New York. Wherever he went, the smell of fresh burning leaves would fill the air and the temperature would drop considerably. Often, the leaves would start to turn on the trees around him as if it were Autumn (even if it was the middle of the Summer).
