Andrew Haines

Andrew Haines is best known for a detailed painterly realism that captures his subjects in very specific light. An observant draftsman, he always avoids the picturesque and instead choses subjects that are in transition or banal spaces but always providing these with just enough beauty to make images that are compelling and memorable. Mr. Haines has shown widely, won several awards and his work can be seen in many private and public collections including; The Boston Athenaeum, The Museum of Fine Arts Boston, Liquitex Corporation, Wellington Management and Zimmerli Museum, at Rutgers University.
