| Old Tom Haystacker was a grey rabbit who worked for many years in the law firm Seedman, Caraway, & Haystacker. He specialized in the handling of legal support for moles, groundhogs, and badgers in real estate matters; negotiated sales contracts and represented them at closings. Most of his cases dealt with moles whose homes were being damaged by farmers and ranchers who disregarded property lines. His most famous case involved the building of a golf course. After he won the case, he helped coordinate the demolition of the gold course with a spectacular display of explosives. |
